Laura Everling Mulchay
Las Vegas Real Estate Associate
Laura Everling Mulchay was introduced to the world of real estate through her husband, John Paul, who is a senior loan specialist with Alderus Funding of Las Vegas, and previously of US Funding Group in Maui, HI. By watching his success in an extremely competitive market, she realized that passion makes things possible—whether it be in the arts world, or in the financial world.
Laura's passion for people and leadership originally led her to Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Kentucky, marked by work with the Kentucky General Assembly and the US Congress. Sometime just before her departure to law school however, Laura got bitten by the "bug" of Salt Lake City snow and a stronger passion for art-making and athleticism. Instead of heading to law school that fall, she drove to Utah and emerged 3 years later with a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the University of Utah. She has since enjoyed a career that has taken her on tour with Diavolo Dance Theater, on the sets of such shows as Port Charles and General Hospital, flying through the air as Peter Pan at Disneyland, and currently as an acrobat with Cirque du Soleil's "Ka" at the MGM Grand.
Through the years she has traveled extensively through all 50 of the United States, Western Europe, and South America and currently works with artists and acrobats from 12 different countries who speak 5 different languages. Her passion for art-making and leadership are satisfied by her work at Ka, but she engages her passion for people and leadership through the real estate industry. She enjoys being a part of the force that is shaping Las Vegas into a cosmopolitan city and enjoys facilitating the dreams of people who seek to be a part of it.
